Quetta Gladiators superstar Faf du Plessis has been ruled out of the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 2021
due to the concussion he suffered last week and will return home to South Africa on Wednesday night. ... Have concussion with some memory loss but I will be fine. Hopefully be back on the field soon.
du Plessis had a high-speed collision with team-mate Mohammad Hasnain in the field as they attempted to stop a drive from David Miller.
After rushing in from long-off, Hasnain made a late attempt to avoid running into du Plessis, who dived to his right after sprinting in from long-off. Hasnain couldnt quite pull away, and du Plessis head crashed into his knee.
Later that day, he tweeted that he was having a "concussion with some memory loss".
Thank you everyone for all the messages of support. Im back at the hotel recovering. Have concussion with some memory loss but I will be fine. Hopefully be back on the field soon. Much love. ❤️
